The School for Advanced Studies in Crystallization and Crystallography for Latin America (ECRISLA) is an event aimed at graduate students and researchers from universities and companies in Brazil and other Latin American countries. Both areas of knowledge, crystallization and crystallography are complementary, and have wide application in various fields of knowledge, as pharmaceutical sciences, physics, chemistry and materials engineering. The ECRISLA brings together three UFSC graduate programs: PPG pharmacy, PPG Chemical and PPG Physics, aiming to strengthen the teaching of crystallization and crystallography at the Federal University of Santa Catarina, and is intended to generate the opportunity to understand these knowledge in an integrated way, in addition to bringing together teachers and researchers, internationally recognized experts, with students of different levels of training, to create a study space, discussion and celebration on the theme of the event. Thinking about strengthening the relationship between the participants, the Organizing Committee planned to hold the 3rd school edition in Vila Fatima Retreat House, a very nice place that has nature as highlight. The site is located in an area of environmental preservation, between the sea and the forest, on the beach of Morro das Pedras, in the south of the island of Florianópolis, near the Lagoa do Peri. The apartments are simple, with suite, twin beds, wardrobes and desks, and ecological principles and care for nature, do not have a fridge and TV, but all have ceiling fans and / or air conditioning and Wi-Fi. site has also, in several collective rooms, some with open and SKY TV, as well as other facilities.
